American infantry WW2 M1938 OD canvas leggings. These are the standard US issue for world war two and are called either leggings or gaiters.
Officially called "Leggings Canvas Dismounted M1938" these where worn by all Infantry troops in WW2 that wore ankle boots like the Leather Service boot and the Rough out boot.
